Allen White, Owner of Automax in Henderson, Named CIADA’s 2026 Quality Dealer of the Year
(HARRISBURG, N.C.) August 2026 — The Carolinas Independent Automobile Dealers Association (CIADA) is proud to announce Allen White, owner of Automax in Henderson, North Carolina, as the recipient of the 2026 CIADA Quality Dealer of the Year Award, one of the Association’s highest honors presented to an independent automobile dealer.
White was recognized during CIADA’s 71st Annual Conference and Expo, held August 6–9, 2026, at the Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
In addition to his Automax dealership in Henderson, White operates two additional dealership locations and several other businesses in the area, making him an active entrepreneur, employer and business leader in his community.
But White’s impact extends well beyond his business.
A strong advocate for his community, White has dedicated his time and leadership to numerous local organizations and causes. He has been active with his local Chamber of Commerce, serves through his church, and supports and participates in local school activities and programs. His commitment to giving back and being involved in the community he serves is an important part of the leadership that earned him this recognition.

The CIADA Quality Dealer of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding independent automobile dealer who demonstrates a commitment to ethical business practices, professional excellence, customer service, community involvement and leadership within the automotive industry.
The award has a long tradition of honoring dealers who distinguish themselves not only through the success of their dealerships, but through the relationships they build with their customers, employees, communities and fellow dealers.
“Independent dealers are often among the most involved business leaders in their hometowns,” Coates added. “They create jobs, support schools and charities, serve in civic organizations and invest back into the communities that support their businesses. Allen White is an excellent example of that spirit, and CIADA is proud to recognize him as our 2026 Quality Dealer of the Year.”
White received the award before fellow dealers, automotive industry leaders, vendors, sponsors and guests attending CIADA’s annual conference.
As CIADA’s 2026 Quality Dealer of the Year, White joins a distinguished group of independent automobile dealers who have represented the professionalism, entrepreneurship, community service and integrity that CIADA has promoted throughout North and South Carolina since its founding in 1955.
