Becoming a Dealer in South Carolina
You have made the first step in becoming a licensed dealer. CIADA will provide you with all of the training and tools you will need to become a successful dealer.
We teach the State mandated course as well as provide additional resources to make the process of becoming a dealer as simple as possible. Being a member of the CIADA will ensure a smooth transition through the many steps necessary to become a legal dealership.
CIADA INDEPENDENT DEALER PRE-LICENSING
The Carolinas Independent Automobile Dealers Association has been educating Independent Dealers since July, 2002. Our highly trained and experienced instructors have educated thousands of new and experienced dealers! Our Pre-Licensing class won a national award for excellence and is recognized as "the Cadillac of dealer education programs”.
The State of South Carolina requires all persons who wish to become a Independent Automobile Dealer (Used car Dealer) to take a state mandated 8 hour class. We offer that class every month to everyone who wishes to become a dealer.

The fee for the class is $400.00
Included in that fee are many benefits that only the CIADA can provide.

You can call or e-mail us with any questions you have, problems you are experiencing, issues you need to resolve and if we don’t know the answer we will research it and get an answer for you. Call us when a customer has a complaint and we can help you figure out what you need to do.
