Dealer License Renewal Extension

The North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles has issued an update in regards to dealer license renewal extensions.

Help Stop Curbstoning

Curbstoning is the repeated, unlicensed commercial sale of used cars for profit.

It is not an ordinary citizen selling one or two vehicles. It is the hustler churning and flipping 20, 50 or even more cars every year.

Research shows that up to one in five vehicles sold outside of licensed automotive dealerships are not legal private party car sales but are illegal sales of curbstoned vehicles.
