History

Back in the late 60's and early 70's drag racing was taken over by the team of Sox and Martin, one of the most successful drag racing teams of all time. In-between stints in racing, Buddy Martin decided that he wanted to open a pre-owned car dealership that offered financing for good people that have faced difficult life events; So in May of 1992, Buddy opened E-Z Auto in Fayetteville, NC. Not long after opening, Buddy brought his son into the business. This family knows it's cars. Buddy and his son, Chris, bring the same level of quality and professionalism to this dealership that was on display in Buddy's drag racing days. Chris Martin is a National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) Certified Master Dealer, and was the first dealer in the Carolinas to earn that distinction. He was also named Carolinas IADA Quality Dealer of the Year in 2003. He has served as president of the NIADA during 2012-2013 and continues to be active at both the national and state levels.
